During his visit to USA in 2025, Rinpoche was invited by Ivan Bercholz to talk about his life for In This Very Moment, a Shambhala podcast series. In this fascinating interview Bercholz, sensitively invites Rinpoche to share his rich life story, recounting his relationships with many eminent teachers while growing up in Tibet until his family's departure in 1958. He shares stories of the early meeting with Sechen Kongtrül who saved his life (twice) and ordained him as a tiny baby.
